Bruce Jack Merlot is a medium-bodied red wine giving notes of ripe raspberries and chocolate with a swirl of vanilla. With plenty of red fruit and medium tannins, it’s soft and juicy on the palate and not too acidic.

About this bottle
This wine from Bruce Jack’s Lifestyle range is made from 100% merlot grapes grown mainly in the Breedekloof Valley in South Africa’s Western Cape. The diversity of climate, aspect and soil in this area makes it especially valuable as a wine growing region.
Harvesting the best quality grapes occurs early in the day from selected vineyards. Destemming and crushing happens on arrival at the Bruce Jack winery before fermenting on the skins. Then open and closed pump overs for colour extract are followed by fermentation of the juice before blending, stabilising and filtering.
