Trumpeter Torrontes is an aromatic white wine made in a lighter style. Distinctively floral on the nose with rose and jasmine scents, then fresh flavours of lemon and white peach on the palate. This is a well structured wine with pleasant acidity and a prolonged finish.

Food pairing
An aromatic, sweetly floral white wine made in a dry style, particularly good with spicy foods. Try it with fish, poultry or vegetarian curries and spicy empanadas. Also pairs beautifully with soft cheeses such as Brie.
About this bottle
Trumpeter Torrontes from Rutini Wines is made from 100% torrontes grapes, a speciality of Argentina. The grapes come from the winery’s vineyards at Tupungato, Mendoza. Here, at an altitude of 1,100 metres above sea level, the harsh conditions significantly stress the vines; as a result, the vines yield fewer but more intensely flavoured fruit.
After harvest, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to capture and enhance the fruit flavours before blending the different parcels of wine.
