Trumpeter Sauvignon Blanc is an elegant, dry white wine made in a lighter style. Persistent aromas of citrus and freshly cut grass blend with herbaceous and tropical elements; on the palate, citrus comes forward, balanced by a flinty note. The finish is smooth with a refreshing acidity.

About this bottle
Trumpeter Sauvignon Blanc is undoubtedly one of our most popular sauvignon blanc wines. The grapes come from selected vineyards in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, the premier wine growing region of Argentina. Here, high altitude and free draining soils stress the vines. As a result, yields are lower but the fruit is more intensely flavoured.
The winemaker achieves complexity with this wine firstly by carrying out two harvests, at two different stages of maturation of the bunches. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to capture and enhance the fruit flavours before blending the different parcels of wine.
