Scented with spices and honeyed plump fruits.
The nose is creamy as well as fruity with just a hint of smoke. The caramel, sherry, dried fruit, and coffee notes make for a well-rounded experience.
There’s sweetness and malt on the palate with notes of vanilla, almonds, cream, and some spicy oak. An ever so slight peatiness is there to spice things up.
The long finish has notes of citrus zest, apricots, ginger, malt, and a dash of chocolate. A pleasant nuttiness lingers.

About the Distillery
Aberfeldy Distillery is situated in the picturesque Highland region of Scotland, near the town of Aberfeldy. It was founded in 1896 and has a long history of producing high-quality single-malt whiskies.
How this product is made
Malted Barley: The whisky is made from 100% malted barley, which is a crucial element in producing single malt Scotch.
Mashing: The malted barley is ground into a coarse powder known as grist, which is then mixed with hot water in a mash tun. This process extracts the sugars from the barley, creating a sugary liquid known as “wort.”
Fermentation: The wort is fermented with yeast in washbacks, where the sugars are converted into alcohol, resulting in a liquid known as “wash.”
Distillation: The wash is distilled twice in copper pot stills. This double distillation process allows the spirit to achieve the desired purity and concentration of flavors.
Aging: After distillation, the new make spirit is filled into oak casks for aging. Aberfeldy 12-Year-Old is matured for at least 12 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The aging process allows the whisky to develop its color, flavor, and complexity.”
