Aberlour 18 Year Old is spicy and luxurious. A deeper Sherry influence adds more spiciness and a liquorice tang. Greater age adds body and develops the distinctive fruitiness to a rich raisin character.
Rich and complex notes of toffee and butterscotch combine with ripe peach and bitter orange on the nose.
A perfectly structured palate. Initial notes of soft apricot and cream are offset by developing flavours of blackcurrant jam and sweet oak with a touch of honey.
A long and balanced finish progressing from crème brûlée to a gentle oak flourish.
