The Angostura Distillery is located in Laventille, Trinidad, and Tobago. It is a historic distillery with a legacy dating back to the early 19th century. Apart from producing rums, the distillery is famous for its Angostura bitters, a crucial ingredient in classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned and the Manhattan.

Angostura 5 Year Old Superior Gold Rum is aged for a minimum of five years in charred oak barrels, allowing the rum to develop its unique flavor profile. The aging process enables the rum to interact with the wood, gaining complexity, color, and depth from the barrel’s charred interior.
