About the Distillery
Bacardi is one of the most well-known and globally recognized rum brands. With a history dating back to 1862, the brand has a legacy of producing a variety of rums, ranging from white to dark expressions.
How this product is made
Fermentation: Molasses is fermented with yeast to produce a liquid known as “”molasses wine.””
Distillation: The molasses wine is distilled in continuous stills to create a high-proof rum distillate.
Aging: The rum distillate is aged in oak barrels. The aging process allows the rum to develop its color, flavor, and smoothness as it interacts with the wood.
Blending: After aging, the rums of different ages and characters are carefully blended to achieve a consistent flavor profile for Bacardi Carta Oro.

Aromas: Subtle and inviting, with hints of vanilla, caramel, and tropical fruit.
Palate: Smooth and mellow, with flavors of butterscotch, toffee, and a touch of spice.
