Badia a Passignano Gran Selezione 2021 distinguishes itself through purity of Sangiovese and vineyard specificity. Unlike blended Chianti styles, this wine showcases a single estate’s expression, delivering depth, structure and longevity. Extended oak ageing refines tannins while preserving varietal clarity.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with garnet nuances. The bouquet unfolds with ripe black cherry, wild berries and dried violet, layered with tobacco leaf, cedar and subtle balsamic notes.
On the palate, the wine is structured yet impeccably composed. Vibrant Sangiovese fruit meets firm, finely etched tannins that provide architectural definition. Fresh acidity brings lift and energy, while integrated oak adds complexity without overshadowing the fruit. The finish is long, savoury and beautifully persistent.
