Botanicals: The key botanical in Bloedlemoen Gin is blood orange, which infuses the gin with its distinctive citrusy and tangy notes. Other traditional gin botanicals like juniper, coriander, angelica, and citrus peels may also be used to enhance the overall flavor profile.
Distillation: The botanicals are steeped in the base spirit to extract their flavors, and the mixture is then distilled. The distillation process helps to concentrate the flavors and create a high-quality gin.
Dilution and Bottling: After distillation, the gin may be diluted with water to achieve the desired alcohol strength and then bottled for distribution.
