About the Distillery
The Bulleit Distilling Co. is a whiskey brand founded by Tom Bulleit in the late 1980s. The brand is now part of the Diageo portfolio and has become well-known for its commitment to producing quality bourbons and rye whiskeys.
How this product is made
Mashing and Fermentation: The grains are ground into a coarse powder and combined with water to create the mash. The mixture is then fermented using yeast, which converts the sugars into alcohol.
Distillation: The fermented mash is distilled in traditional copper pot stills to produce a high-proof spirit known as “white dog” or “new make spirit.”
Aging: The new make spirit is aged in charred oak barrels, where it gains complexity and develops its flavor profile over time.
Bottling: After aging for the desired period, the whiskey is bottled and made available to consumers.”

Aromas: Rich and spicy with notes of black pepper, vanilla, and oak.
Palate: Bold and robust, with flavors of rye spice, caramel, and hints of dried fruits.
