About the winery
Château le Bedat is owned by Domaines Fontana, a family enterprise based in the small Gironde commune of Gensac, near Saint-Émilion. The vineyard parcels face south-south-west, exposing the grapes to maximum sunshine. The average age of the vines is 30 years old. The estates practise traditional and sustainable methods within the vineyards, leading to HVE3 certification recognising good environmental practices.
