Tasting Notes
Deep garnet with a composed, youthful core. The nose opens gradually, revealing black cherry, plum and cassis, followed by crushed stone, dried herbs and subtle graphite.
On the palate, the wine is firm yet fluid. Dark fruit and savoury layers unfold across finely sculpted tannins, supported by fresh acidity. The limestone character asserts itself through the mid-palate, guiding the wine into a long, focused finish marked by restraint and persistence.

Château Quintus represents the modern renaissance of Saint-Émilion, uniting two historic limestone estates under the stewardship of the Clarence Dillon family, owners of Château Haut-Brion.
The 2014 vintage favoured freshness, structure and clarity, and Quintus responded with a wine of restraint and definition. Rather than overt richness, this vintage emphasises line, mineral tension and controlled depth, qualities that underpin long aging and intellectual appeal.
