Deep, inky garnet. The nose opens with blackberry, cassis and ripe plum, unfolding into notes of sweet spice, cedar, cocoa and a touch of garrigue. On the palate it is voluptuous and richly textured — dark berries, mocha, black pepper and polished oak intertwine over supple tannins. A warm, lingering finish reveals hints of licorice, vanilla and Mediterranean herbs, giving the wine both power and finesse.
