Cote des Roses Chardonnay is a creamy, full-bodied white wine presented in an elegant designer bottle. Aromas of apricot, mango and almond complement tropical fruit and citrus flavours. Oak aging lends vanilla, butter and spice to the profile; hints of pear add sweetness to the mineral finish. This is a well balanced, very drinkable chardonnay!

Cote des Roses Chardonnay pairs exceptionally well with fish and shellfish. Alternatively, it makes a lovely apéritif.
About this bottle
The grapes for this wine come from the warm, windy and dry Languedoc region of southern France. Harvested at optimum ripeness, the grapes are then cooled and gently pressed, with only the first-run juice used.
After settling, the wine ferments anything from 15 to 30 days depending on temperature and clarification required. Vinification takes place partially in Bordeaux barrels and partially in stainless steel tanks. Following light fining, the wine is bottled early to preserve its fresh, fruity character.
Cote des Roses Chardonnay is presented in a rather beautiful bottle, the base of which is shaped like a rose bud just beginning to open. The elegant design comes from a young designer at the famous Parisian college of art and design, the Ecole Boulle.
