About the Distillery
John Haig & Co. is a historical Scottish whisky distillery, with origins dating back to 1824. It was founded by John Haig, a prominent figure in the whisky industry, and is known for producing premium blended Scotch whiskies.
How this product is made
Whisky Selection: The distillery’s master blender carefully selects high-quality malt and grain whiskies from different distilleries. Each whisky contributes its unique flavor characteristics to the final blend.
Aging: After blending, the whisky is aged in oak casks for a minimum of 15 years. The extended aging period allows the flavors to mature and mellow, resulting in a smooth and refined whisky.
Bottling: Once the whisky has reached the desired age, it is brought to the desired bottling strength and bottled for distribution.”
