Description
The Heritage Cite De Carcassone Blanc is a distinguished white wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France, known for its bright golden yellow color and a bouquet of youthful notes such as acacia and pineapple, complemented by hints of hazelnut, nectarine, and mineral. This Chardonnay variety offers an elegantly dry taste with minimal residual sugar, striking a fine balance that showcases the wine’s quality. The vinification process involves careful hand harvesting, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging on fine lees to enhance the wine’s complexity. It pairs splendidly with a variety of dishes, including spaghetti with caper-tomato sauce, omelet with salmon and fennel, or leek soup, and is best served chilled at 8-10°C. The Heritage An 1130 blanc Cité de Carcassonne is a testament to the rich history of the region, with the name referencing the year the first fortification of the Cité de Carcassonne was built, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
