Krone Borealis Cuvée Brut 2023 is a precise and elegant Méthode Cap Classique sparkling wine from Krone Cap Classique, crafted in the cool-climate valley of Tulbagh, South Africa. Produced exclusively using traditional bottle fermentation, Borealis represents Krone’s most refined expression of Chardonnay, highlighting purity, structure, and finesse.
The 2023 vintage is bright and focused, offering aromas of fresh citrus, green apple, and white peach, complemented by subtle notes of almond, brioche, and chalky minerality from extended time on lees. The palate is crisp and linear, light- to medium-bodied, with a fine, persistent mousse, vibrant acidity, and a long, dry, elegant finish. This is a poised and sophisticated sparkling wine, ideal for aperitif moments or pairing with delicate cuisine.
