Description
Sadie Rotsbank 2024 is a single-vineyard white wine from Sadie Family Wines, sourced from old bush vines planted on granite and sandstone soils in the Swartland. The name Rotsbank (rock bench) reflects the vineyard’s shallow, rocky soils, which naturally limit vigour and yield fruit of exceptional intensity and character.
The 2024 vintage is focused and structured, delivering layers of citrus peel, stone fruit, saline notes, and pronounced minerality. On the palate, the wine is medium- to full-bodied and firmly textured, with vibrant acidity and a long, savoury finish. Serious and uncompromising, Rotsbank is a wine of power through restraint, evolving slowly and rewarding patient cellaring.
