Pale straw in colour. The nose is subtle and layered, showing citrus peel, dried herbs, and a distinctive saline, sea-breeze character.
On the palate, the wine is taut and finely textured. Bright acidity carries flavours of lemon, green apple, and mineral notes, finishing dry, savoury, and refreshingly precise.

Sadie Skêrpioen is one of Eben Sadie’s most distinctive expressions of coastal South African terroir, crafted from old vines grown on limestone-rich soils near the Atlantic Ocean. Rather than aiming for overt fruit or power, this wine is about restraint, texture, and a deep sense of place.
The 2024 vintage is precise and quietly complex, delivering saline freshness, fine structure, and natural tension. It is a wine driven by acidity and minerality, unfolding gradually in the glass and rewarding attentive drinking.
