Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with concentrated hues. On the nose, there’s an interplay of black cherry, ripe plum and dark berry tones, punctuated by hints of violet, graphite and cedar spice. Secondary nuances of tobacco leaf and forest floor begin to emerge, adding nuance without heaviness.
The palate unfolds in measured sequence. Dense, layered fruit carries through a frame of structured tannins and refreshing acidity. Rather than broad expansiveness, the wine reveals defined progression, from juicy core to fine spice and mineral-tinged length culminating in a finish that is long, poised and resolutely dry.
