About this bottle
Trumpeter Rosé de Malbec Still is a flavoursome rosé from one of Argentina’s oldest wineries, Rutini Wines. The grapes come from selected vineyards in Tupungato, Mendoza, the premier wine growing region of Argentina. Here, high altitude and free draining soils stress the vines; as a result, yields are lower but the fruit is more intensely flavoured.
Trumpeter Rosé de Malbec is made in the Provence style, a comparatively technical method using cool fermentation temperatures and fine lees contact. Temperature control is particularly important throughout the process; for instance, the grapes harvest takes place at night to reduce oxidation and maintain freshness.
