Deep, inky ruby with vibrant density. The nose unfolds in stages, revealing blackcurrant, dark plum and blueberry, layered with graphite, cedar and subtle cigar box notes.
On the palate, the wine is structured and commanding. Dense black fruit meets firm, finely grained tannins that provide architectural definition. Oak is seamlessly integrated, contributing spice and depth without masking purity. The finish is long, savoury and persistent, marked by mineral tension and dark chocolate nuance.

Vilafonté Series C 2022 is a Cabernet Sauvignon–led red blend from Vilafonté, one of South Africa’s most precision-focused estates. Crafted to showcase structure, depth, and longevity, Series C reflects a Bordeaux-inspired approach grounded firmly in Paarl’s warm climate and distinctive soils.
The 2022 vintage is confident and layered, revealing notes of blackcurrant, dark cherry, graphite, cedar, and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, with firm yet finely integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and polished oak. Powerful without excess, Series C is a wine of control and finesse, offering immediate appeal with clear potential for long-term cellaring.
