About the Distillery
Hendrick’s Gin is produced by William Grant & Sons, a Scottish distillery with a long history of spirits-making excellence. The gin is crafted at the Girvan Distillery in Scotland, using a small batch production method to ensure exceptional quality.
How this product is made
While the exact botanical recipe of Hendrick’s Orbium remains a closely guarded secret, it is known to incorporate some of the classic Hendrick’s Gin botanicals, such as juniper, rose, and cucumber. Additionally, Orbium includes a unique trio of new botanical essences: quinine, wormwood, and lotus blossom.
These additional botanicals are carefully selected and infused into the gin during the distillation process, imparting new layers of complexity and flavors to the spirit. The use of quinine and wormwood introduces a subtle bitterness, reminiscent of traditional tonic water and vermouth, while the lotus blossom adds a delicate floral note.
Technical Details
Appearance: Hendrick’s Orbium may have a color similar to the original Hendrick’s Gin, clear and bright.
Nose: The aroma is complex and intriguing, with notes of juniper, citrus, rose, and a hint of floral undertones from the lotus blossom.
Palate: On the palate, Hendrick’s Orbium offers a unique and harmonious blend of flavors. The familiar juniper and rose are complemented by the bitterness of quinine and wormwood, along with the delicate floral essence of lotus blossom.
Finish: The finish is balanced and lingers with a subtle bitterness and a gentle floral sweetness.

The alcohol by volume (ABV) of Hendrick’s Orbium is typically around 43.4% to 47.4%, which is within the range of strength commonly found in premium gins.
