Ruby-purple in color, the nose reveals the depth of red and black fruit aromas, notably and black fruits, notably blackcurrant and is underlined by spices and hints of garrigue. Silky, fine tannins on the palate. Or & Azur red has a spicy, fleshy character, fruity freshness, and a spicy mineral minerality.
To be enjoyed at 16°C with duck or lamb, eggplant tian, grilled tuna on a tomato coulis, beef and onion confit, or mature cheeses

Or & Azur Rouge is a blend of Syrah and Grenache with a fresh wine with layered aromas of wild strawberry and fresh blackcurrant, underlined by notes of spice and garrigue. The silky palate is full of ripe berried fruit and is interwoven with an elegant mineral streak.
What also marks this wine out as special is that it is organic and bee-friendly! The Bee-Friendly certification is issued by the French body for sustainable development, ‘Ecocert Environnement’ and is based on specific criteria designed to protect bees and pollinators. For example, the use of pesticides identified as harmful to pollinators is prohibited. The label also requires apiaries to be installed on the estates. In partnership with beekeepers, the bees have taken up residence at the Château l’Hospitalet among other estates of the Gérard Bertrand group.
