About the Distillery
St. Germain is produced in France by the St. Germain Company. The key ingredient in this liqueur is elderflower, which is a small, white flower that blooms from the elderberry tree. The flowers used in St. Germain are harvested in the French Alps during a short period in late spring and early summer when the elderflowers are at their peak.
How this product is made
The elderflower blossoms are handpicked, and their delicate flavor and fragrance are preserved through a maceration process. The flowers are steeped in a neutral grape spirit, allowing the essence of the elderflowers to infuse into the liquid.
After maceration, the mixture is gently pressed to extract the full flavor of the flowers. The resulting liquid is then blended with a touch of cane sugar and pure water from the French Alps to create the final product.
Technical Details
Aromas: Fresh and aromatic, with distinct elderflower fragrance and hints of pear and citrus.
Palate: Floral and slightly sweet, with flavors of elderflower, tropical fruits, and a subtle honeyed sweetness.
Finish: Smooth and lingering, with a delicate sweetness that is not overpowering.

The alcohol by volume (ABV) of St. Germain is typically around 20%, making it a liqueur with a lower alcohol content.
