Yealands Estate Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is an elegant wine from the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Wines from this region are world-renowned for their fresh, crisp and vibrant character.
The grapes for this wine come from the winery’s Seaview Vineyard, specifically from three east coastal blocks; here the conditions are pretty harsh for grape production, resulting in concentrated fruit flavours and minerality.
After destemming in the field, the grapes undergo pressing and cool fermentation using specially selected yeast to bring out the varietal character. The winemaker then blends the wine before filtering and bottling.
